The Cura Story
Cura Concierge Nursing LLC, was established in 2023 through the collaborative efforts of two compassionate and skilled registered nurses, Melissa Dettner and Holly Owens.
The inception of Cura Concierge was inspired by a shared observation. Melissa and Holly frequently encountered situations where patients undergoing same-day surgery or brief hospital stays faced a lack of care when returning home. Witnessing the uncertainty and confusion experienced by patients and their families at discharge, Melissa and Holly were inspired to provide clarity, comfort, and expertise. They recognized that insufficient postoperative planning and care increased the risk of hospital readmission or the need for additional surgical interventions—an alarming prospect.
Their dedicated team of nurses offer a curated approach that sets them apart from traditional healthcare models. Cura Concierge nurses deliver personalized one on one care, emphasizing education, safety, and medical advocacy.
